Ibex is a concept speedboat that allows the user to determine the attributes of the wake with adjustable trim planes sited at the base of the tower. The user can adjust the planes from the driver’s seat to increase the water displacement which will lead to a more defined wake. Or to have smooth driving, user can adjust the planes for decreased drag, enhanced fuel efficiency and quality ride while not disrupting other boaters. The tower, below dash consoles and lower swim deck area is featured with ultra-thin OLED lighting which is completely unnoticeable during the day, but can produce any number of colors at night to offer a unique boating experience.

Ibex comprises high-end multimedia system including video, audio, wireless network connectivity and on-board memory storage, controlled through touch-screens located at the passenger console and swim deck. Moreover, the tower of this boat is equipped with rear facing cameras that will offer the rear-views to the driver for better driving. Within the front hatch, there is a color-matched and flush-mounted hard top that can be removed to reveal a luxurious foredeck bench. This boat features direct drive propulsion mechanism that eliminates the probability of injury or unexpected situations on an exposed prop while lessening the boat’s draft also.

Veuve Clicquot and RIVA have come up with Champagne cruise collection that would make you bath in Champagne. RIVA is a luxurious speedboat company and Veuve Clicquot has designed two different accessories for Riva boats. Their first collection costs around $80,000 and it includes 4 bottles of La Grande Dame 98, 2 magnums, 6 Champagne flutes and 6 water tumblers, plates, table mats and cutlery. Their second edition is composed of a bottle of La Grande dame 98 and 2 Champagne flutes at $425. The design of the cruiser bag is extremely stylish and anyone would say that it has been designed by world’s best craftsmen. You can easily carry it as a hand bag and enjoy your Champagne party anywhere you want rather than a bar.

1963 Corvette Speed Boat

Improvising and improving existing means of transport has always been the priority for humans. This has been the driving force for coming out with new ideas, be it concept cars or hybrid fuels, the motto is keep improving! On the same lines comes the 1963 Corvette inspired speed boat concept. Designed by Swedish designer Bo Zolland, the concept uses many of the design features of the 1963 Corvette including even the split rear window, rounded windscreen, tapering rear roofline, and side windows, and the louvered deck hood.

Entry to the 1963 Corvette speed boat concept is via the Gullwing doors. As Inside is the seating for five people. The Proposed power for the concept comes from a variety of engines with the maximum horsepower output of 550 hp with the estimated top speed being 70 knots.

Zolland’s design is a mix of Corvette and the boat is extremely effective and is well thought out one. Boat builders Strand-Craft, SWEDEN who have previously made some of Bo Zolland’s previous concepts a reality, are charged with constructing the Corvette inspired boat. Inspired by the split rear window and svelte shape this speedboat has been created as homage, though this seems to be a cool design to zip zap zoom, it would be a tough ask for this concept to ever go into mass production.
