Audi Avatar 3-Seater Electric Supercar for 2032

The Audi Avatar is a 3-seater electric supercar concept specially designed for the drivers of 2032 to enjoy the pleasure of driving that they experienced playing racing games during their childhood days. The appearance of the car is much identical with the science fiction flying cars we used to watch. This futuristic car concept features 4 extremely powerful in-wheel electric motors powered by supercharge-ion batteries. The ultra lightweight aerodynamic body along with the powerful backend, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and can achieve the top speed of over 360km/h with responsive handling.

Some explanation from Edwin :
The exterior desing of the car is inspired by the form of fabric blown in the wind. The form also carries traces of the historical Auto Union Type C Streamline race.

There are no conventional doors on the car, but instead, inspired by the jet fighters, there are three glass canopies. The main canopy opens forward together with the steering wheel and the dashboard; the two passengers’ canopies open backwards; and a side panel on the bodywork opens downwards to act as a step, making the event of getting in and out of the cockpit very special and easy.

The interior is simply one continuous sheet, starting from the dashboard, then being folded and bended to create floor carpet and seat.

The interior of the car is as simple and futuristic as the exterior. Single sheet transparent LCD dashboard displays all the essential data such as speed and mileage. The screen in the center of the steering wheel displays digital map. The information can also be projected on the canopy by a head up display. The
whole driving experience would be like flying a fighter jet. There is a small but handy luggage space behind the driver seat for handbags and suitcases. It is also an arm rest for the passengers.

Four wheels are housed inside the car’s four “legs”. Each wheel contains an Audi In-wheel Electric Drive Unit, making the car an evolution in Audi’s trademark “Quattro” all time four-wheel-drive system. The long range Supercharge-ion battery which powers the in-wheel motors are separated into two packs located in front of as well as behind the cockpit, creating a perfect 50:50 weight distribution of the car for excellent handling.

Roll.Charge.Light.Protect Wheelchair Glows Brightly During The Night

Wheelchairs would be dangerous for open ride especially when users go out during dark night. “Roll Charge Light Protect” Project demonstrates a concept wheelchair that has lights for other people to notice the wheelchair, offering a remarkable safety system. This lights get power from movements of the wheels, thus, it is a good way to save energy. There are a set of LEDs under the wheel cover that glows brightly during the night. A magnet is helping generating electricity by rotating and the generated electricity is conveyed by the Coil to the LEDs. The wheel and the magnet are bridged with a Gear, protected by a Small Cover. The LCD panel shows readings about remaining amount of electricity and how long the user will be able to use it.

CCC : Transform Your Car Into A Helicopter

The CCC is a fascinating and futuristic concept car which is an ultimate solution for eventful city use with its compact design and mostly, the ability to transforming into a fully operational helicopter. When in the car mode, it is a three wheeled vehicle with 2 giant front wheels and one small rear wheel, which works as tail rotor when it transforms into copter mode. The blades remain folded hidden in car mode and can eventually pop out when required. The entrance is designed from the front through a pop up glass door and no passengers other than the driver are allowed to board on this single seater car-copter. The cockpit has a sphere at the driver’s right arm to control the CCC.

Viu : 3 Wheel Electric Concept Car for 2 Persons

Viu is a futuristic concept car that has been designed with a living feel and has given the sensation about not only its aesthetic like a motorbike, but comprehensive safety of a 4 wheeled car. This lighter and smaller vehicle comprises more aerodynamics to make it more efficient and environmentally friendly with its 2 electric engines that never emit anything bad at all. The sporty and technologic outlook enables wheels, suspension or rear suspension to be seen in action from the driving position inside. Moreover, cameras with the floating rear view mirrors, air side intakes, aggressive LED front lights and carbon fiber elements have given the car an innovative and dynamic image.

The interior of VIU was designed aiming the needs of the future users by serving as a living means of transportation. The design of the dashboard stimulates the eye with two lateral LED lights that indicates an efficient driving meter and a tachometer. The 1+1 sitting arrangement of the car offers the exciting movement of a motorcycle together with the safety of a closed car. As the road turns, the car cabin inclinates with the turn and the back seat rotates following the turn to offer maximum driving excitement to the driver.

Up the drivers seat, there is a fan to blow on the drivers back and shoulders to motivate him and to provide an excitingly fresh environment during the hot season when moisture accumulate on the seat, another air fan is there to dissipate the moisture. The steering wheel is actually a drumming pad, which can jam in the speakers when the user drums on the wheel spontaneously. This extremely cost-effective vehicle will cost five cents only with Eneloop batteries for one month, eight hours a day use.

Futuristic Landstorm Concept Vehicle for The Year 2058

Landstorm concept is a vehicle that is designed for future, when airborne vehicles will not be much effective to reach a particular area because of frequent natural disasters which is the result of future global warming. This vehicle has been designed as an all terrain vehicle that is equipped with a collection of hidden gadgets or compartments and the ability to interchange the pods located on its back. There is a variety of Pods that can be enclosed with the vehicle before it is sent to a particular location. These pods have been designed considering scouting missions, food and water transportation to a disaster affected area, medical pods that can treat 2 patients simultaneously, excavation pods that can work as a robust crane to remove large pieces of wreckage, and fire rescue pod where the tank can hold 750 gallons of water and can drain water from lakes with outboard pumps.

The 4 hydraulic legs of Landstorm can move independently and are providing great functionality by navigating over tremendously difficult terrain and raising itself up to reach the target. The use of these hydraulic drive-train attached with several powerful electric motors and powered by hydrogen fuel cell, have made the vehicle lightweight by removing the mechanical parts to impel the wheels. Moreover, it can be airdropped when the destination is far from the closest depot and then continue to reach the target on land.

The wheels of Landstorm are uniquely designed that feature small pods, allowing more grip on surfaces like loose dirt, mud or snow by increasing to compress surface area or just by using the edges to grip onto the surface. These are not just wheels, they feature a grapple gun or hook winch that lets the vehicle drag heavy debris or towing a standard vehicle. Once the Landstorm reaches the destination, the team will start rescuing and treating the survivors for emergency injuries.

The driver and navigator of Landstorm will have no problem finding out how far the destination is and how to get there by using the state of the art HUD technology along with a built in MultiSight camera (Infra Red, Night Vision and Cold Vision) powered with an advanced Computer AI. The heads up display features the most interactive information system which is controlled by the user’s neural patterns, which means, the information is controlled by the users thoughts. The rest of the cabin remains free for storage compartments for various equipments. There is a small backup unit that will start working if the main power source fails for any reason.

Muecke Single Seater LightWeight Helicopter

The Muecke, name driven from mosquito, is a concept single seater easily transportable lightweight helicopter which is actually a combination of lower weight and fewer flying costs. The design comprises three stands instead of wheels to balance the chopper when grounded and a short tail without the conventional rotor. This small chopper will meet the need of ultimate personal aviation, proposed to be powered through a turbine driven by the shaft and features counter rotating blades. Therefore, a tail rotor is no longer required for this chopper to change directions; rather it utilizes the movable paddles at the tilt of the rotor blades. With the production of this helicopter, the recreational aviation market surely will boost up to an extraordinary level.

Cherry Electric Transportation Design with Carbon-Fiber Plastic Body

Cherry is an innovative way of transportation concept which is neither a bike nor a bicycle but still can offer the similar functionality with more facilities. Inspired by the natural shape of Cherry, the front part of this concept is bigger since this is the motion producing part and the rear part is at the minimum dimensions which results comfortable ride and lighter and smarter outlook. This vehicle will offer you less energy requirement, strong performance, balance of three wheels, pleasure of motorcycle, adjustable driving position and customizable parts. It will provide you reduced maintenance cost because of the few and simple parts and zero emission and no pollution due to the plug-in batteries and electric motor.

Cherry will offer easy control using the throttle and the break lever and requires very small place to park. By using lightweight elements such as small battery and carbon-fiber plastic body, this vehicle weights around 40kg or less only and can be carried anywhere easily. The high torque of the electric motor, lightweight design and strong grip via three wheel drive has made it a big performance vehicle. The designer envisioned this vehicle as a transportation solution for every person in future world when space-efficiency would be one of the biggest concerns among mankind.

Laundry handling is always a tiresome job especially for those who are living in an apartment where making room for dirty laundry is quite hard. The main goal of this project is to offer a structured design of a complete solution that facilitates the user to efficiently handle their laundry. This product has wheels that enable the user to place it anywhere they want and can use it as a sitting place too. There is a bag inside made of bamboo textile with an antibacterial effect and can hold five kilos of dirty laundry. Active carbon of the inner textile prevents probable unwanted odors from spreading out and the ventilation holes let air to flow out and in.

Podi Lato Bicycle is Made From Aluminium and Recycled Materials

Podi Lato bike has been created with a bicycle concept that can meet the requirements of all range of people. The concept includes a two wheeler basic bicycle and an additional part that can be attached with this bike to meet the special requirements of an individual. This part can be used as a baby seat, double seat ideal for twins, mini container when shopping, an added seat for handicapped and many more. Finally, the two rear wheels and a broader seat are specially designed for people who are not able to maintain their balance during cycling.

In a world where obesity and poor health is increasing the impact of physical activities cannot be exaggerated. It is a common acknowledged fact that the health of people is becoming increasingly poor and something dramatic needs to be done. By making the use of a bicycle much easier, the motivation for driving a bike shall increase, and consequently the result may be better health.

The design aims towards motivating people to use a bike instead of either using a car or refraining from moving at all. By designing a bicycle which takes into consideration the concerns of people who normally will find it difficult to use a bicycle to move around, these people will more easily become motivated to go by bike, because their special requirement is met. These people can be parents with infants or small children, handicapped or people with handicapped children or family members, elderly people who find driving a normal bike too insecure etc.

iMo is The Next Generation Urban Vehicle

It is quite evident that with the passage of time the designs and shapes of the vehicles, commonly used by people will change drastically. They will become environment friendly and also much safer than the current ones. iMO is a great vehicle that is designed to accompany the users as it seems alive with the insertion of several organic parts. It is round in shape and available in colors like yellow, blue, red and black. They have a transparent shield to cover the interior which makes it a fully secured car. The wheels are small, smoothly polished by immensely efficient at the same time. iMo is only a student project for Coventry University with no commercial means.
