Inspired from the Mosquito, the biker’s seating arrangement has been done in a dominative manner over the road, just like the fear of mosquitoes dominates, even though the size of the bike is competitively small. The color and the aggressive stands of the bike also resemble the shape of a mosquito and to maintain balance over the leg structure, the bike features heavy tires and powerful engine. M.S.Q.T.O is a complete physical and psychological experience extracting concept that is driven from the nature for a purposive reason.

TFL Bikeshare Network Concept with Foldable E-Bike and Electrical Modular Buses

The TFL Bikeshare network concept outlines an efficient and healthy way to realize the ultimate solution for commuters. This concept comprises a foldable e-bike that can be rode from the home and deposited to modular mobile hub, and board a bus. Upon arrival at destination, another hub will be there to rent another bike through using the unique Oystercard which can be availed by leasing the service on a per trip or monthly basis.

The E-bike has been designed with airless tires, robust tubular construction and shaft drive, ensuring durability, while the luminated front bar and dazzling graphics increase the visibility and safety for the rider. E-bikes have designed to be folded quickly and intuitively by the user and deposit it into the storage modules after arriving to a transit hub. RFID technology has been utilized to charge the users on their Oystercard according to the amount of E-bike rental time. When docked, E-bikes act as hub seating and get charged for the next renter.

Transit hubs optimize the traveler’s transitional experience between renting bike schedule called Bikeshare and boarding on a bus. The hubs provide real time transit schedule by allowing access to the Bikeshare. The Ionic modular design provides the concept with distinctive architectural identifiers all through the cityspace, increasing both the desirability and visibility of city public transit. During the time passengers board on a bus, its ultracapacitors get charged until next stop via a small arm extended from the hub. The busses collect and disperse E-bikes according to demand, effectively diminishing the need of third party distributors.

The electrical modular buses aim to optimize the needs of next generation commuters by providing ultimate convenience for public transit. The specialized interior space addresses the diverse needs of passengers. The compact and ergonomically bended seating arrangement provides a safer environment for seat occupiers and the standing passengers downstairs for short distant travel. On the other hand, long-distance travelers and tourists will be able to enjoy the city from panoramic second floor.

Renault Picnic Zero-Emissions Concept Car Provides Room for Social Gathering

When people goes for a picnic, a car that can provide room for social gathering parked in an urban landscape is always desirable, which was the main inspiration of designing the Renault Picnic concept car. This car can become an urban furniture, where people can re-acquaint themselves with the surrounding natural environment with its various functionalities. It features LED-impregnated DOL that allows adjustable and customizable tinting patterns that will make the car’s surface a public art. The easy access sliding doors allow convenient entrance. You can attach a bicycle with the rear bumper and can arrange some extra sittings with tailgate rumble seats that slides-out from the front trunk. The Renault Picnic features low-cost and minimalist dashboard with i-pod compatibility which is ideal for new drivers. The modular seating arrangement of this car ensures equal comfort to be enjoyed for all passengers either inside, on atop the rear bumpers or on the front tailgate.

The Renault Picnic seeks to augment rather than detract from the health of it’s surrounding environment. It is a Zero-emissions vehicle that provides a social function to the parked car within in the urban landscape. When parked, the Picnic transforms into urban furniture, becoming a social space for people to re-acquaint themselves with the surrounding environment. LED-impregnated, glass-coated polycarbonate windows project customized images when the vehicle is parked, transforming the vehicle into a form of public art.

Further considering the environment, the exterior panels are composed of hemp-based composites, and the vehicle is powered by Lithium Ion batteries and two rear-mounted in-wheel hub motors.

In order to reduce cost, complexity and weight, the simple interior is constructed of modular components, with four identical, soy-foam seats and an i-pod doc replacing most of the functions, including sound system and GPS on the dashboard.

Futuristic Epine Concept Car was Inspired by Racing Vehicles

Epine concept car derived from a project to create a hybrid eco-friendly vehicle that is able to provide a racing track experience to its occupants while at the same time offering a new way of being in touch with the nature. The minimalist design of this car gets inspiration from racing vehicles – Formula One cars and motorcycles – and comprises a whale skeleton as a token of natural element. The major technical feature of this car is the Epine system that allows a complete seating arrangement by adopting the drive-by-wire technology to run the steering system.

The storage compartment is located in the front and the powerplant is at the rear side of the car. Michelin Tweel concept which actually is airless wheels has been used in the suspension system of this car and is housed within the wheel itself. The structure and the materials of the wheel spokes allows to compress and decompress, offering a collection of motions. The total length of the compact car is 4,260mm, width 1,882mm and height 1153mm.

The “Devil Bike” concept bike is offering all the features along with visor that may require to call a bike with that name. Using v-twin engine, this metallic black bike definitely fits the personality of the young generation with a passion for speed and style. The design is unique from both the front and rear view. Unlike any other conventional bike, this bike comprises a top mounted petrol tank, while a lower and uncommon seating arrangement. When it comes about lightening, this bike has only two of them, the headlight in the front, and a small break-light at the back end, which has made the design even simpler.

SylviaNancy Yacht with Hybrid Fuel-Efficient Electric Power System

The 76m (246ft) long Sylvia Nancy yacht concept is designed to house 12 guests along with the appropriate number of crews and is able to explore interesting locations all over the world with a hybrid fuel-efficient electric power system. This yacht contains three main aft decks with alluring sun lounges and sun decks scattered around, each of them will offer spectacular views. This concept comprises an outdoor bar lounge and a movie screening room to offer versatile entertainment to the passenger. Its outdoor amenities and open side corridors will give the feel of lying down on an outstanding sandy beach under palm trees.

One of the key features of this design is to employ the maximum number of outdoor seating arrangements on the aft decks. A couple of Jacuzzi’s and sun lounges can be found below and above the master deck. The main deck is situated at the bow of the yacht and a wraparound couch is placed around a Jacuzzi, providing private sun lounges along with magnificent open view. This serves as a master suite room that includes a dining room and a personal lounge.

Two Diesel Engines are producing the required power and are mated with 2 Electric Diesel Azipod Props. Moreover, a solar panel has been placed on the top of the yacht acting as an alternative power supply. This solar energy can run all the electric units when the yacht is docked at port, bringing the noise down to a calm whisper. All the passengers of Sylvia Nancy will cater spectacular open ocean views and relaxing fun atmosphere, while saving the environment all through the trip.

Bushbunker : Australian Bushfire Safety Bunkers

Bushfires are being considered as one of the most dangerous natural disasters and keeping the terrible Australian Black Saturday bushfires during the last February in mind a concept survival option has been developed named Bushbunker. This concept is an architecturally designed safety bunker that is able to protect you when required. This concept bunker is comprehensively designed to endure people during the severe environmental situations that a massive bushfire may produce. This bunker contains a sitting arrangement for 3 to 4 person and adequate water preservation and food storage to keep the insiders alive for few days till the fire becomes under control.

Bushbunker represents a concept that has been designed from scratch specifically as a bushfire bunker, and comprehensively engineered to withstand the severe environmental conditions that a major bushfire produces. It has been designed for maximum survivor ability no matter the intensity or type of fire.

A series of two fire doors is used to separate the entrance/storage area from the bunkers main interior to provide a fail safe, and to create an air lock which protects against the infiltration of radiant heat through the first steel fire door. This is an extremely important design feature, as some of the most severe burns to Black Saturday fire survivors were caused by radiant heat.

To outfit the interior, the design makes use of standard off the shelf components such as steel fire doors, steel frames and sealing, bench seating, compressed air cylinders, battery powered electric lighting, storage shelving, water drums, UHF radio and EPIRB, and fire blankets and first aid. This in turn allows for flexibility in the design, and reduces costs.

The Bushbunker has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 6 adults for an extended period when equipped with compressed air cylinders. These air cylinders also have the additional feature of providing a positive internal air pressure inside the bunker making it impossible for noxious and poisonous outside gasses and smoke to enter.

Hanging above each seating area is a series of refillable standard 20 Litre water containers which provide a gravity fed source of clean water for drinking, cooling and first aid purposes.

Due to its standardized size and modular construction, and depending on the site conditions of a home, the Bushbunker can be specially incorporated into the structure of a house or home, free standing, set into an embankment or partially or totally buried underground.

“Hold The Line” Modern Alternative To The Traditional Public Space Bench

Christian Precht has designed great pieces of furniture for various purposes. The seating furniture created by Christian resembles a “waiting loop” in appearance, he call it : “Hold The Line”. It is curved and looks quite sculptural. The seating arrangement completely changes the concept of a normal bench. It is modern and unique unlike the other public seats. Some of the benches feature geometrical shapes which are stylish but comfortable to sit. Network cables and power supply run through the entire loop.

Manta Craft is a uniquely designed watercraft which provides the user with an experience that is a blend of Jet Ski throttles and smooth surfing. The seating arrangement in this craft is created keeping in mind the fan factor. The rider will be able to sit comfortably and at the same time can come into close contact with water. It runs with an electric motor which makes it a cost-effective tool as there is no fuel purchase required. There are handles and hulls shaped like “Y” to control the throttles so that the user can customize the ride according to his convenience.

There is the solar/electric jet drive train, the body of the watercraft, the shin holsters and the thumb throttle handles. The solar/electric jet drive setup consists of four elements. These are the jet drive, the electric motor, the lithium-ion batteries and the solar panel.
