Loop Vignette is an eco-friendly and lightweight 2-seater concept electric car designed for the next generation riders aiming to customize the mobility ideas with more closely associated lifestyle products, technological gadgetry and the Internet. The outcome is therefore a brand new, sophisticated, fun, desirable and most significantly affordable experience which the target customer can relate to.

The design comprises both economic and technical efficiency. The chassis is covered in an unpainted swappable plastic skin, which eliminates the painting stage. The placement of the rear wheels within the rear quarter panel offer improved aerodynamics. The rear and front façade of the car contains thin-film OLEDs under the colored polycarbonate surfaces, through which users can personalize parameters like day-running lights or graphically expressing themselves by adding custom decals. This feature will also eliminate the need of placing individual lights for turn indicators or brakes.

The dashboard has been kept minimal for individual movable components; rather it contains a huge touch screen where most of the interactions between the car and the rider will take place. While driving, users can keep their other works going on through the internet connectivity and share their driving experience through social networking websites.

Burst is a concept projector phone designed to boost the functionality and mobility of the conventional touch phones. Burst can project images onto any type of flat surface from projectors mounting aside with its specialized software to deform and compress the touch space display. The touch screen performs just like the traditional screens, but the operation takes place on the virtual projection space. Burst can project HD interactive full color touch spaces showing applications and menus, that opens in a lower touch space. The innovative user interface of Burst utilizes sound and motion sensors to capture as well as process user interactions inside the touch space.

Slider is an innovative ultra mobile computer concept that can handle all the requirements of a user all through the day. The concept features a full functional 9” touchscreen display and a full QWERTY keyboard which can be revealed through flipping the screen. VOIP video chatting and flawless mobile video streaming can be achieved through its 1GB RAM and 1.5GHz processor, while the keyboard allows the user to send emails and post blog entries easily. The main difficulty that this ultra mobile personal computer faces is finding a reliable hinge that conveys data from the screen and other necessary components located in the upper half of the device to the hard drive and the motherboard. Because of its ultra compact shape, the battery life is significantly hindered, however, it still can ensure 4 to 7 hours of operation.

Feutrefon Feltphone is a concept foldable mobile handset fabricated with leather and felt. The white surface and inner black body of the phone is able to attract the attention of all range of users. When unfolded, the phone becomes flat, without any noticeable joint spot between the upper and lower part. The keypad is designed in an innovative way that gives the impression of touch buttons. The anatomy of the phone includes leather surface, velcro washer, display, electronic module keypad, SIM slot, battery and laser-cut felt. Finally this phone is available in three different colors, white, green and blue, to suit different types of user personality.

D:Scribe Digital Pen Helps You Send Emails and SMS by Writing It Down on Paper

D:Scribe is a digital fountain pen designed by Reuben Png, a student of New South Wales University, that will allow you to send email messages and SMS from paper. All you have to do is write down the message by using the keyboard or keypad, whatever you name it, and circle the name of the person to send it in a more personalized way of communicating. You can access the previously written messages through a computer since the pen records everything you write. To express your thoughts freely, this device allows messaging through sketches which can convey your message beyond your words.

The human touch in communication is easily lost in today’s digital age. Hindrances to communication can include the interface of buttons, screens and keyboards. D:Scribe enables users to communicate with others in a way that comes most naturally, through handwriting.

D:Scribe uses a high quality writing nib befitting that of a precision writing instrument, as opposed to current digital ballpoint pens in the market. The nib can be rotated to suit the user’s handwriting grip style. The optical sensor beneath the nib is in a central position, as opposed to current digital ballpoint pens. As such the centred scanner is much more effective.

SMS and email messages are sent via bluetooth to a mobile phone or computer, without the user having to take out his/her mobile phone. In a social context, this is perceived to be a less anti-social activity than pressing buttons on a mobile phone to text someone.
