When we touch a tap to open water flow, we certainly leave some bacteria and dirt on it, which we take back after having washed our hands when we attempt to close it. The Water Symphony concept comprises an electronic device for the mixer tap, with which you can adjust all the needed functions such as water temperature or pressure precisely and quickly without touching it. There is an OLED display on the top of the tap, showing water temperature, its pressure and the spent amount in liters for one time. Moreover, the tap includes a microphone and sensors that can sense an object’s proximity.

The water pressure and temperature control unit is fitted under the sink which is consists of two parts. One is the microprocessor that processes the incoming signals of the peripheral sensors and the microphone, in order to control the water pressure and temperature adjustment. Another component is the water pressure and temperature adjustment device. All the processes are carried out through electric network feed and the water is heated through the heating elements. Adjusting the water pressure is executed through opening and closing a valve and water heating requires a particular amount of time excluding the odd energy consumption and heat loss for a constant heating.

Having come to the sink, the user will pronounce the needed water temperature and when the hands are taken to the tap, the motion sensor sends the required signal to start water flow with the preset temperature. If the user wants to adjust the water pressure, approaching just a finger over different sensors will provide different water pressure. The overall procedure takes less than 2 seconds and settings are saved until next session begins.

The Water Symphony can work in both constant water supply and motion sensors modes and is a perfect solution for those who cares for health and hygiene, and keeps up with time.

BikeBug Bluetooth radio concept will diminish the limitation of cyclists when they go out together and want to communicate with each other. BikeBug communication system includes an easy to use, small radio consists of two major components; a radio resided in a stretchy, hook-on exoskeleton, and an earpiece or microphone that includes the volume control mechanism. An incorporated Bluetooth transmitter links the earpiece or mike with the radio wirelessly through which the cyclists will have a wire free convenience. Family Radio Service frequencies, which are being used by most economical hand-held radios, will be mostly used to establish the communication.

This product represents a combination of modern as well as traditional features of a telephone. Icono has been designed to offer a unique experience to its users. The design is based on the hand gesture that people use to represent the telephone. There are two parts of this handset, one is earphone and another one is microphone. Therefore, the user has to use the iconic gesture while using the telephone. The modern part of this device includes the touch screen that shows the animated path to the user for dialing the numbers. Overall, this two-piece design is sleek, impressive and creates a touching interaction between the phone and user.

Text from Zinc Chan :
The Icono has created a new experience for the telephone, which is a very traditional product. I have based my design on the iconic hand gesture people use to represent the telephone. The handset is divided into two parts, earphone and microphone. This invites the user to use the iconic gesture when using the phone. When the user dials the numbers, an animated path is shown on the touch screen. Therefore, people start to remember the person by their unique pattern rather than the numbers. This, together with the two-piece handset creates a more emotional interaction between the phone and the user.

Watches do just one thing, and you can find them in million of models and prices. Now they are a trendy accessory rather than only an instrument to sign the time. Why not try to do the same with mobile phones? Fashion victims could wearing it like a jewel with a special cover and elastic string according with some elegant dress. A phone to show, not to hide in the bag or pocket.

Often ring tones are irritating for the others and if you want use vibrating-call that is not always useful if the phone is far from you. Wearing the phone, vibrating-call is more practical because it vibrates on the hand. I think the gesture of shaking the thumb and pinky to call is natural for the people. You can have the phone always ready to use, and putting microphone and speaker very close at your ear and mouth is possible use it also in noisy places. You can continue to catch objects or use a pen. Another more serious reason to use it, is for people that have fear of electro smog from mobile phones. Separating the microphone and the speaker is possible to adapt them according the personal shape of human cranium and to keep the electromagnetic field far from the head. Touchscreen equipped with “Voice Activated” and “Hands Free” software to dialing, picking up and hanging up the line.

As cellular phones become a standard, the statement they make as a symbol and a fashion accessory has become increasingly important. The Radia phone concept expresses simplicity in form and sophistication in function and user interface. The outer rim, which is made of brushed aluminum makes both a refined and professional statement. The touch-display is large enough to read and display many types of information, yet small enough to maintain a pocket-sized device. Simplicity is also expressed in the power button, which is flanked by the earpiece speaker, and balanced by the microphone which is 180 degrees around the perimeter. The designer, Michael Laut (http://www.mikelaut.com) is currently a student at North Carolina State University’s College of Design (ncsudesign.org)
