Blue Coast 95 Yachts from Megayacht Catamarans

The Blue Coast Yachts, in association with Coste Design and Partners, has announced the 95 feet extraordinary luxury yacht Blue Coast 95, which is being constructed at La Ciotat, France. This new generation sailing yacht has been designed for cruising worldwide and is equipped with functional materials, latest technologies and intelligent designs for sea life.

The Blue Coast 95 yacht features three decks, providing excellent performance and comprehensive cruising comfort to its boarders. The narrow twin hulls give the yacht maximum stability and smooth navigating capability in rough weather conditions. As a maxi-catamaran, Blue Coast 95 features an automatic sail reduction mechanism for the first time ever. Moreover, its shallow draft allows it to be cruised and anchored in areas that are usually inaccessible to other motoryachets of the same size.

The innovative architecture of this giant yacht offers huge in-and-out living area, dining zone, sunbathing spots, bar, helm station, rich equipped Jacuzzi, and many more. The main deck offers a forward full sea view which will please all range of boarders.

Ankida Yacht by Lila-Lou

The Ankida Yacht concept was developed aiming to move away from the conventional center-line arrangement by integrating the mast, keel and sail configuration with the hull naturally. The bow like arrangement of the vessel allows effective propulsion through the rig generated force. The sail layout and its operation have been designed to cover the surface area and best possible positioning to the wind condition and direction. Moreover, enhanced performance has been ensured by automatically adjusting the keel bulb to optimize the center of mass. The design relies greatly on the fully automatic operation mechanism; therefore a magnetically levitated turbine has been placed between the masts to provide power for the entire system which makes Ankida a unique and efficient wind powered vessel.

Each port, mast and starboard is running parallel, rather shadowing one another, which enhances the sail efficiency by covering maximum area. When the yacht is not with the sail, the booms remain joined with the aft and allow the sail to furl automatically in the line of the straight mast. Ankida can run under one sail too, therefore, the option of additional sails offer flexibility of pleasant cruising.

Landscape Bathtub Can Transform Its Shape to Meet Your Needs

The Landscape Bathtub concept was envisioned to meet problem of limited resources of energy and space in near future. This project is designed to transform its shape to meet the requirements for different scenarios. For example, the landscape will be a shower deck during the fast morning, which will transform into a long relaxing bathtub during evening. The landscape is made of transformable thick silicon/rubber including an air pumping mechanism inside. Moreover, the concept offers vibro-massage feature based on turbulent pumping arrangement inside the rubber skin and an option to resize the bathing area as per the particular user’s need in order to optimize the usage of space and water.

The La Clef du Temps watch actually allows the user to control the pace of time by modulating the speed of every passing hour through the crown at 9 o’clock. Aside from featuring technical triumph, it returns luxury timekeeping more importantly to all range of users. These 24 watches of different time zones of the world surely stand a chance to be a great collector’s choice. The weird symbols of the watches can be revealed by close examination and no matter how long you misrepresent time on your watch, you can return to the standard time anytime by simply moving the crown at 9 o’clock. Eco Pods Architectural Design with Robotic Arms

The Eco Pods are a structure concept that can act as a temporary algae bio-reactor in vertical way. This concept is specially designed for Boston and features robotic arms, powered by micro-algae mechanism, which will continuously rearrange the pods to different positions to ensure the best possible growing condition for the algae. Moreover, these eco-pods are intended to inform people about the potential of micro-algae as a bio-fuel that can be produced vertically.

Aside from being just a bio-reactor and a local renewable energy source, the Eco-Pod will also be a good research incubator where scientists can examine algae species and ways of fuel extraction, including innovative methods of using low energy consuming LED lighting for modifying the algae growth cycles. This module can easily be placed to various places around Boston, infilling empty sites, examining new proposals, and creating initiatives with other communities in order to meet the growing energy requirements.

Hot Cup is a concept coffee cup along with a beautiful and functional stand that will keep your tea of coffee hot for a longer period of time that will allow you to enjoy your hot tea while working at office or talking in phone. There is a heating mechanism on top of the round flat of the stand that will heat up the coffee cup slightly when placed on it. Also, the bottom of the cup is a conductor, which is able to transfer heat to its content, keeping it hot as long as you keep it there. The cup includes an LED that will confirm power supply. Moreover, the entire arrangement will surely enhance your desk’s décor.

Volkswagen L1 Concept Car : 1 Liter of Fuel for 100 Kilometers

The Volkswagen L1 is a concept car, designed in a fuel efficient way that can propel around 100 kilometers or 62 miles by using one liter of fuel. Recently the designers have prepared a prototype of this car by combining great aerodynamics, supremely efficient powertrain and lightweight engineering.

The powertrain of the VW has been furnished with two-cylinder, turbo-diesel 39-hp engine with a 14-hp electric motor. Besides, the car comprises a stop/start mechanism and a dual-clutch seven-speed transmission through which it can quickly reach 100 mph, while dropping the fuel economy to an extraordinary 1.38 liters per 100 km.

Aerodynamics of the front-wheel-drive L1 is optimized by a two-seat layout where occupants can seat in a row. Therefore, the car is relatively long, extremely slim and quite low comparing other traditional cars. The body is made of carbon fiber, making it lightweight of merely 838 pounds.

Urban Bicycle Concept with Folding Wheel System

The compactable bicycle concept was driven from the need of boosting urban space efficiency when it is not in use or being transported. The wheel is made of six modules, each with double pivot in their joints, allowing the wheel to be folded and become smaller. The spokes of the wheel are contained in the internal structure when you fold the bicycle and the spokes rotate to the system’s center where they attach with the center wheel. This bicycle is designed in a double triangle structure made of expandable modules with foldable ability. To keep the structure in position, the system has utilized a special X shaped component that aligns the modules to the exact position.

The Wheel is composed by six modules, each one has a double pivot in the joints, this allows the wheel to fold and become smaller, the spokes are contained in the inner structure of the wheel, when you unfold the system, the spokes rotate to the center of the mechanism where it attach to the center of the wheel.

The double triangle structure is composed by expandable modules, each one collapses to a smaller dimension and then this modules align by the rotation of the axis in the joint of the structure, to keep in position all the structure is used an special part in a form of an X that aligns all the modules to their position.

Renew is an innovative concept steamer that features two steam blades to clean and refresh cloths effectively. With the combination of an infrared scanner and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system, this concept gathers information about a cloth from particularly designed clothing tags. It offers comprehensive safety and stop working if an anonymous object is detected. It features an OLED touch screen input taking mechanism that will allow users to operate the steamer and learn about their clothing. Renew is made of recycled glass and aluminum and can save a considerable amount of space of your home interior with its compact size which is only 25% of the current washing machines.
