Neuma hybrid tattoo machine comes in small package and weight less than half as much as traditional coil machines, yet this machine is very powerful.

[Press Release]
Thousand Oaks, California, April 7, 2009 – World-recognized strategy, innovation, and design consultancy RKS is proud to announce the introduction of the Neuma Hybrid Tattoo Machine, as RKS helps Neuma revolutionize the tattoo industry and usher in a new age of artistry, comfort, and safety. The superior technology of Neuma tattoo machines benefits tattoo collectors and artists alike – with the lighter-weight, fully-autoclavable tattoo machine delivering a less painful tattoo experience and drastically reduced healing times.

Dissatisfied with traditional coil machines, award-winning tattoo artist and inventor Carson Hill set out to create a completely new kind of tattoo technology – the first air-powered tattoo machine. Carved out of solid aluminum years before the MacBook made it cool, the original pneumatic tattoo machine, known as the Neuma2, was light-weight and fully-autoclavable.

The latest evolution of the Neuma, the Neuma Hybrid, is the result of Hill’s desire to constantly push for improvements. Hill listened carefully to suggestions from artists and engaged RKS to re-engineer and re-design the Neuma2. The result is the Neuma Hybrid. At only 3.7 ounces in its pneumatic configuration, the Hybrid still weights less than half as much as traditional coil machines. Packed inside this small but powerful package is an improved pneumatic design for greater efficiency and less air consumption, a larger impeller for more torque, a cushioned armature for compliance, a variable stroke-length, an improved collet, and optimized cycle timing for less drag on the skin when lining.

The “hybrid” part comes in when Neuma tattoo artists want to take the show on the road. Year-round and world-wide, tattoo artists travel to expos to create their art right before their fans’ eyes. With the baggage restrictions now in force by airlines, it’s becoming more of a challenge to travel with an air compressor. The Neuma and RKS teams brainstormed an ideal solution… a motorized module that magnetically-couples with the Neuma to transform it into an electric-powered tattoo machine. This means that Neuma artists can have the Neuma performance they love in an electric configuration that still weighs a full third less than traditional coil machines. And, most importantly, the pneumatic machine is still fully-autoclavable.

Whether you’re an artist, a long-time collector, or someone who’s been tempted but afraid to get a tattoo, the Neuma Hybrid represents a breakthrough in delivering a safer, less-painful, tattoo experience. And as for Carson Hill, perhaps Rosenau said it best, “He’s developed something that’s changing the way tattoos are done and the look of tattoos. He has his own little place in tattoo history.” Hearing that makes Hill squirm a little.

The CAM is Camping Activity Mobile. More than your typical camping vehicle, this heavy duty off-road camping vehicle can take the happy camper anywhere they would like. The wheels are dual mode, with the 5 spokes extending proud of the try to give additional grip when needed and the front and rear bumpers are made of rubber to allow for minor bumps and scrapes without the need to replace them.

This new camper design by David Fearnley is surely something for the one who love to travel. At the onset the front looks more like been lifted from the batman movies as it looks a little mean machine; the side doors have been designed such that it acts as a sitting place wherein after a long drive one can just relax over there or take a snap to capture the scenic beauty.

The unique seating configuration allows the driver to have a clear view of obstacles ahead and be more confident to drive on. The other seats are designed to allow the passengers to look out of the windows and enjoy the scenery while they travel. These windows has been envisaged as being able to be tinted at the flick of a switch for privacy and security when the vehicle is left alone. These seats then fold down to allow for a flat floor within the vehicle, and for added space the rear section extends to for an additional space when the vehicle is stationary. Under the main rear section is a pull out draw that is a great storage area for anything wet or filthy as it is away from the rest of the gear.

How about the future homes having a dedicated room just for washers and dryers? Designed by Harsha Vardhan from New Delhi, India, this Alternative Clothes Cleaner is a conceptual washing machine which doubles up as a large seat. It has two modes of operation, active and passive, though both allow you to sit atop the unit. No detergent or water is required, as either — the inner chamber acts as a pressure washer and also cleans the clothes with ionized air which means no drying, too. So one unique way to conserve water when the same would be in less quantity.

Nowadays the emphasis is being given to private vehicles for maneuvering in and around the city. Also with this increase in vehicles, the parking spaces are getting cramped up by the day. It is but obvious to have an amicable solution for the same. In comes Solid – the vehicle. Designed by Nikita Gutsalenko, currently pursuing fifth year in Product Design and Transport Design at the Ural State Academy of Architecture and Arts, Russia

The Solid vehicle does have the standard protection means, like safety-belts and airbags. It also has two special elements installed in front and in the back of the car. These elements provide additional maneuverability by turning around. They also are very strong in if a crash occurs as they take the damage on itself and thus saving the booth.

The deformation of the Booth is prevented by a frame ring. In the interior, a display is installed thus creating a panoramic view. The Airbags installed in wheel of the car will operate at the side. With an approach sensor it turns on the auto brake system. The car creates the sensation of reliability as its Image is associated with specialized machines, all we can say is welcome to the future.

Versatile is a new kind of kitchen appliances. It solves many common problems that you can experience with today kitchen appliances such as : space problem, so many electric wires, hard to clean, hard to use, too many features per product, etc.

Versatile is a system products. A panel supplied electric power and support to a large choice of magnetic appliances such as: toaster, steamer, coffee machine, with minimum interface.

Versatile allows spontaneous access, more frequent usage. No waste of space as appliances are used and stored in the same place. Very simple and easy to use shapes thanks to the induction technology. Hermetic products mean washable product even in a dish-washer.

Going green also means saving water. Do you know that we use around 150 litres of water for a washing machine ? After that, the water will go down the drain just like that, when we actually can reuse it. “Washup” is a conceptual design integrating washing machine with toilette-flush. It suggests a sustainable water consumption by storing the wasted water in toilette-flush tank and reuse it with flushing. Moreover, “washup” brings a solution for the problem of location of washing machines in small bathrooms, overlapping washing machine usage space with toilette usage space. It is fixed on wall upwards toilette, so that loading of clothes would be easier for the user without bending or crouching. A special interface including three semi-sphere control units & two flushing buttons is designed for a practical usage of the product. “Washup” is a green product offering solutions for the problems of standard washing machines.

motorcycle, renovatio concept, motor design, motor concept

I’m a little bit confused with this motor design, where do I sit ? This renovation concept by Confederate Motor Company uses minimal machine, using the fewest pieces, moving parts and systems to accomplish its dynamic mission. The word “Renovation” itself means rebirth, which also represent the rebirth of their headquarters company after destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. The Driving concept was the creation of a conceptually flexible foundation to allow a place for growth and further iteration; a utilitarian modular flexible foundation.

Conceived by the leader of our conceptual design team, Mr. Ed Jacobs, the motorcycle is at once primitive, bohemian, and yet highly technical. Renovatio is un-compromised, light weight, possesses enormous torque, is capable of extreme performance, yet has maximum real world streetable active safety. It is graceful in motion, yet potentially brutal. It exudes inner beauty through absolute follow through of truth of concept. Renovatio has great proportions, holistic brand gestalt, is original, impactful, alluring and elegant

Let’s take a look at peugeot’s futuristic prototype two-seater. This 4WD Quark has removable interactive interface, innovative PDA concept, still serves the same purpose as ignition key which combine with instrument panel. 4WD Quark is also protected with small transparent and waterproof cover. Enough said, this 4WD Quark prototype has competed successfully at Michelin Bibendum challenge. The vehicle create its own class in four wheeler, which actually similar with 4WD machines that are selling so well in America at present, yet created low-emission inner-urban fuel-cell vehicle. To drive each of four 17″ diameter wheels, this 4WD Quark is using electric motor which connected to the chassis by means of triangular wishbones.

The fuel cell supplements electrical energy supplied by a Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery consisting of 40 individual cells, each with a voltage of 7.2 volts. The battery can therefore provide a nominal overall voltage of 288 Volts. In parallel, PSA Peugeot Citro’n have also developed new solutions to simplify the fuel cell and reduce its size to help integration into more compact vehicles. The fuel cell of Quark is no longer water-cooled, but air-cooled, this could avoid the need for bulky water-cooling system and this means we can also avoid freezing point because of ambient temperature that could cause damage to water-cooled cell. So you don’t have to put 4WD Quark in garage in any weather conditions.
