iCar Futuristic Eco-Friendly Concept Car In The Year 2027

The concept iCar project is designed for urban use, exploring the possible future transportations in the year 2027. This futuristic car is actually designed for more environmentally conscious drivers that offer an uncommon approach of creativity and transport design. The architecture of this car is totally fresh and comprises complete carbon fiber composites, surrounding sensor scan, data driving environmental display or DED and aluminum chassis. The most noticeable thing of this car is the combination of different color lights to serve individual purposes. The headlights are located a bit lower than the conventional ones and the parking lights as well as the break lights are placed vertically. The entry and exit arrangements have been designed by popping up the roof.

Mercedes-Benz has recently launched a very smartly designed folding bike that can be folded in two different shapes. When fully folded, it becomes a very small package ideal for carrying easily using public transport and when it’s in the ‘shuttle’ position, users can push and steer it with great convenience. Completely folded Mercedes-Benz Foldingbike needs a very small space, only 80×80x30 cm, which allows the user to pack it up in the high-quality carrying bag supplied with the bike. As a result, you can easily store it in a camper van, car trunk, office or yacht. In fact you will find it as a good buddy who can go with you wherever you go.

The patented folding system is really easy to operate which requires no additional tools and takes only few seconds to folding and unfolding the bike. The aluminum frame includes 40 mm suspension travel at both front and rear wheel and this can be adjusted for individual riding soothe. This Foldingbike offers relaxed cycling with the Shimano 8-speed gear and disk brakes ensure supreme level of safety. TW Transporter is a single seater magnetic field powered concept vehicle that has been crafted by fascinating the future transportation means. This two wheeler vehicle includes an on-board electricity powered mechanism and an electric engine that can generate a magnetic filed to run the large wheels. The rims of the wheel are suspended over superconducting fluids where the shifting magnetic field creates the required motion to propel the car. Thus, the motion and power generation is nearly noiseless, smooth and green. The seat of this vehicle offers the driver a balanced position in a cockpit and easy operation of the vehicle. There is a port at the back of the cockpit through which the driver will enter or leave the vehicle.

Link Urban Modular Scooter System for Better Environment

Link urban scooter system is a modular transportation solution that you can retrofit with the present Streetscape Smart Poles. Anton Grimes has designed this superb concept electronic scooter and will be available for hire from a hub to ride to the preferred destination. After reaching there, users have to return it to another hub for recharging. Grimes have used the existing light poles to reduce the expenses of the unit and offers strong anchors that are able to carry both power and telecommunications to the hub. The main goal of the design is to reduce cars in the CBD as per Sydney 2030 plan and make a more pedestrian city.

“With increasing demand on an already over-stretched transport infrastructure it makes sense to shift the way that we move, by taking up less space per individual while in transit. The energy required to move the individual is also greatly reduced by reducing the size and weight of the vehicle.

The device also removes direct emissions away from the city and with the addition of environmentally sustainable power generation off-site, the device has the potential to have no net emissions.”

mPower : Empowering People to Create Electricity

Usage of green energy is the top most priority for people who are conscious about their responsibility towards the nature and environment. Keeping this in mind the mPower system has been developed which generates huge energy at minimal effort. The slender body of the device and leaf like tip resembles the structure of a large leaf. The color is green to enhance its organic nature. The steppers at the bottom are also shaped like leaves with the similar designs. Using this unique product you can save the natural resources and a large amount of money spent on electricity at the same time.

mPower consists of 2 units: Generation and Collection.

mPower Generation is a plant-shaped human-powered unit that produces electricity for immediate and future use. Users access their account using fingerprint recognition, stand on two pads at the base of the unit, and shift their weight from one pad to the other every ten seconds. The system, developed to take up the least amount of a user’s time and effort, can be adapted for the handicapped. A small portion of the electricity generated is used to power the interactive touch-screen at the top of the unit, which offers a broad range of informational services pre-customised by each user. The remaining majority of the electricity generated is sent to the city’s main power plant, to be used or stored. At their convenience, users receive payment for the electricity they generated by accessing their account at mPower Collection.

mPower Collection is a unit that, using the same fingerprint recognition technology, distributes payment and allows for account customisation to users of mPower Generation.

mPower taps into our greatest natural resource: people. Rather than expending energy to create more, mPower harnesses the excess energy we generate by providing a platform for individuals and companies to create electricity, make money, and improve lives. By offering payment to individuals, including those that are homeless, in exchange for a few minutes of minimal movement via a free-to-use system available to everyone, economic and environmental sustainability and empowerment is made available by involving citizens in generating what has become one of our most essential needs: electricity.

mPower units are established by electric companies. Businesses pay electric companies to advertise on mPower Generation touch-screens; these ads are geared to individuals who previously expressed interest in particular products/services as per information entered upon account set-up, thus negating . This negates the need for expensive market research, PR and advertising campaigns. Electric companies pay consumers for generating electricity via mPower; these payments are competitive with fees paid by consumers for power provided by the same electric companies.

The base of the unit consists of two pads, each mounted on a hydraulic cylinder. The cylinders are connected by a micro-hydro turbine. When a person steps onto one of the pads, the resulting pressure forces fluid from one cylinder into the other, causing it to rise. The more a person repeats the movement of shifting his/her weight from one pad to the other, the more electricity is generated. This system can be replaced with piezoelectric pads or other technologies as appropriate.

In addition to the exercise users get while generating electricity, they can also benefit from services available on Generation’s interactive network, including news, community events, traffic information, public transportation information, calendar, time, date, music, weather, radio, product and service information, mobile device charging, internet, widgets, city maps, games, phone calling services.

mPower fits into our daily activities and ways of life without disrupting them. Generation and Collection units can be placed on, in, or near streets and pavements, public transportation waiting areas, airports and other areas where waiting is involved, parks and community areas, schools and universities, libraries, common areas in apartment blocks, and countless other places.

The concept of mPower can be modified to fit into homes, casinos, gyms, phone booths, internet cafes, and wherever generated energy can be used as direct power or in exchange for services and products such as climate control, public lighting, charging mobile phones and other devices. Other generation methods can also be implemented, such as walking, pedaling and running, see-sawing, swinging, and using body weight/heat. The possibilities are endless, sustainable, and empowering.

It is designed to meet the standard to provide sufficient door to door service. Personal Mover is a system of small vehicles having independent control and run on fixed guide ways. Basically this system is specifically designed to as a pedestrian enhancement device. There is an adjustable handle rail which can fit as per individual’s shape and sizes. Overall, this private motor offers maximum flexibility, expense, travel time and comfort to everyone.

“Freewill Urban” : A Collapsible, Personal Commuting Vehicle Used to Assists Daily Short Distance Travel

Check out this innovative transportation concept known as Freewill Urban – Intercity Commuting vehicle designed by Jinn Wong. This vehicle is a personal commuting assistant which helps in daily travel for the journey between the train station and the user’s destination. This vehicle consists of three-wheels with a long handle designed to pull the vehicle in an indoor environment. Freewill Urban is powered by two individual motors in the hub area of the two front wheels. Each motor controls each wheel separately. The vehicle uses oval shaped form and curves in order to offer styling approach. So, you can surely try out this electronic scooter for short distances.

The aim of this project is to design an innovative transportation concept, which co-operates with public transport to provide ability to commute without the need of transit between more than one types of public transport.

The design solution generated as the result of this research project is personal commuting assistant, named ‘Freewill Urban©’. This design concept is a collapsible, personal commuting vehicle used to assists daily travel for the journey between the train station and its user’s destination.

Environmental sustainability is considered with uses of rechargeable electric powered concepts to reduce the amount of pollution created from gas emitting vehicles in the city. This product is aimed to encourage commuters to travel by public transport, which reduces the need of commuters to travel by their private vehicle into the city. By doing so, it reduces the amount of pollution generated by private vehicles traveling in the city.
