Viktor Ramos, an architecture student, elaborates a brilliant idea to solve the Israel-Palestinian conflict. Victor’s simple but absolute genius concept shows bridging the Palestinian and Israel territories with huge structures, that can uphold life, house people, and let the people, animals and goods free transit. These bridges will be over each country’s ground so that nobody will become isolated. This project is obviously huge but if it is structurally possible, it will bring a new look of these two county’s geography. These bridges can eliminate many of the demands of the inhabitants of both states by providing the resources they needs.

e-Sullivan, Portable Communicator for Deaf-Blind People

e-Sullivan will help deaf-blind people to communicate by converting all types of printed materials into Braille. e-Sullivan is a handheld portable communicator for hearing and vision impaired, not only it can convert into Braille, but also provide assistance with such computer-related tasks, such as instant messaging and web browsing.

This device is very slim, you can carry it anywhere, protected by a sturdy outer shell composed of a rubber and plastic resin, no worries when you accidentally drop it. Hearing and vision impaired people can get help from e-Sullivan for reading store product information and prices without any assistance. Its simple surfaces and minimal number of buttons emphasize tactile interaction for straightforward usability. The middle, ring and little fingers operate Braille input buttons, and the thumbs are used for the scrolling wheel and the mode button. Index fingers operate the scanning button. Taeho Wang, the genius designer, has created e-Sullivan concept with hope to be able to lower the wall between deaf-blind people and the world.

In this digital world, we are turning more and more to the internet to find great recipes. But the question is, how to bring those recipes into the Kitchen ? Noah Balmer saw this problem and create a simple and genius concept, the Kitchen Sync. Kitchen Sync is a digital cookbook concept which perfect to meet the demand of replacing the conventional cookbook into a new generation of digital world. Finding your recipes online won’t be a problem for this device with its wireless internet connection, buy products, read cooking tips, no more sticky papers and dirty laptop.

This brilliant kitchen sync concept has won a prestigious International Housewares Association design award, hopefully this digital cookbook can continue into real production.
