The Chiseled Faucet, one of a kind faucet, it will be a very excellent design in your bathroom or faucet, the concept is like that of a molded piece of chrome. It’s wide based, rear mounted as well as extended neck handle is providing a very efficient profile that reinforce stealth sharp edge as well as flat feature. This chiseled faucet had been created for a desirable usage of ergonomics and to fit the standard of sinks, with its components like filters, connectors, cartridge). There can also be optional finishing touches like the polishing of the brushed nickel or chrome.

The “U-Turn” concept is a high-end bathroom & kitchen faucet range designed around its users needs; incorporating bathroom items or providing additional features for personal objects. The bathroom sink model provides a recess to safely place rings while washing hands. Also, the multi-purpose “U-turn” features a precast opening to place toothbrushes or other accessories like a customized liquid-soap dispenser.

The larger kitchen model includes an easy-access removable soap/sponge dish mounted on a rotating spout. The “U-turn” tip provides grooves to hang gloves, a watch or other personal accessories.

Organic Motion Bike is Based on Z-Frame Concept

One can say without a hitch of a doubt that the bicycle is one of the most environment friendly modes of transportation designed by man. It also is a good medium of exercise so to say as the driving force is one of organic human effort. This new bicycle design called OM-Organik Motion is based on the Z – frame concept, which features integrated systems such as integrated front and rear suspension and an integrated shaft drive. The handlebars and saddle are adjustable and the joystick mounted gear and brake lever system are incorporated along with safety features such as reflectors on the outer wheels and in built-in taillight. The Balance Mobile Phone Concept with Ergonomics Design

The Balance of Communication concept was developed with ergonomics in mind. A shape which fits in hand well is coupled with a new weight distribution of the components. The heavy parts are located on the bottom part of the phone, leaving the top with only a very thin and light display. The keypad is big for the ease of use – many people are frustrated by the small keypads on current phones. The design tries to eliminate the sealed case look by using an exoskeleton as a feature. The strong side beams are the structurally supportive elements of the design, giving the aesthetics a visual flow, and communicating the idea of ergonomics.

Heikki says :

“This concept was done as an exercise for my modeling skills, and as an alternative experiment concept for the phone industry. I believe concepts should provoke feelings and discussion, in both good and bad. It’s a great way to learn and develop further designs. It’s also interesting to see how people are willing to sacrifice ergonomics and usability for values that are made up, such as status and the bling factor. I find this an important and challenging thing to consider as a designer.”

The New JBL EON Speakers with Clean Look and More Power

World-recognized strategy, innovation, and design consultancy RKS is proud to announce that JBL has introduced the next generation of its groundbreaking, industry-standard EON® series portable loudspeakers. JBL’s unveiling of the EON500 series powered and lightweight speakers immediately raises the bar in the category of molded powered loudspeakers in all aspects, from industrial design to sonic performance, integrated utility and portability.

“We congratulate JBL on the incredible reception received by the release of the new EON,” said Ravi Sawhney, Founder and CEO of RKS. “We’re thrilled that our collaboration and JBL’s leadership have taken powered PA to a whole new level.”

The resulting design is a striking departure from the original EON. The full, foam-backed, perforated metal grill provides an added measure of protection to internal components, while offering a clean, uncluttered look to the entire line. The speaker’s shape, like the EON’s power, projects from the rear of the speaker where the amp is housed. “The design flows from the back of the speaker in a single, accelerating curve,” explained Lance Hussey, RKS Vice President of Design. The bold port vents, provide a visual accent and evoke fond memories of the original EON.

To minimize abuse to the speakers and users alike, the design team removed all the hard edges and corners. “Not only does that make it very durable, but also very comfortable to move around, there are no corners to bash into your knees and your legs and things or slide in and out of your car,” said Jones. The EON500 series includes three lightweight compact models that each feature an on-board minimixer with loop-thru or mix-out capability. The EON515 puts out a massive 450 watts of power, yet weighs only 33 lbs.

To take full advantage of JBL’s lightweight technology, this flagship EON features three handles. Each full-bar handle, one on the top and one on each side, is placed for optimal ergonomics and balance, and over-molded with a soft comfort-grip. Pole-mounting speakers has never been easier. No more bending over to lift the speaker off the floor. Just grab the top handle, and then easily switch to the side handles as you effortlessly lift the speaker and set it atop the pole.

The challenge of the design brief was to create a design solution that enabled greater and easier levels of user interaction. The easy to understand keypad combined with the hand-writing recognition technology provides great information ergonomics for the user. Another of the video phone key selling points is its dual mode functionality. The phones keypad can be locked into place to provide a sturdy stand/rest to allow users to sit back enjoy the video calling experience.

Bringing a different look on the objects which surround us. Wondering about their functions, their ergonomics, their aesthetics and causing emotions. This is what Sequoia-studio, a product design agency based in Hong Kong wants to share with anyone. “Gélule” is a bedroom clock radio with a simple and smooth shape. It has a backlit LCD display and an omni-directional speaker. A choice of several colors of cloth for the speaker is proposed, fitting with the color of the LCD display. The adjustment of the volume is done by rotation of the speaker.

Hability was born from the need to combine a careful analysis of the needs of the disabled with the creation of a kitchen that is not merely accessible but also aesthetically pleasant and accurate in every detail. The collaboration between architect Marco Miscioscia, a designer attentive to the world of the disabled, and Valcucine, a company that has made the philosophy of beauty its motto, has resulted in the creation of this industrial product that can be utilized just as well by people with no handicap as by the disabled, without the kitchen labeling the person as is often the case with similar projects.

Easy Food is a system in stainless steel for the kitchen, designed to reduce work during food preparation. It is extremely innovative in terms of ergonomics, safety and technical solutions and has been designed to be very accessible to the advantage of anyone using the kitchen. The stainless steel top has been made from a single mould. This technology avoids welding and built-in elements that would increase costs and imperfections.

Food is prepared, chopped, cooked and drained from the same workstation. All this without moving pots and pans. A self-cleaning system makes the water flow away from the user, conveying it directly to the service sink. The top can be fitted with dish-drainer racks and removable and transportable sinks.

This worktop has been completed by Valcucine by adding wall-hung units, corner units with accessories that are completely accessible even by someone on a wheelchair, and by the Libera hood in stainless steel and curved tempered glass that is perfect for any ergonomic solution and the top-notch of Valcucine design.

The CookSurface from Fisher & Paykel, through its simple clean forms, has numerous innovative technological breakthroughs that not only improve the quality and efficiency of cooking, but also improve and sustain a dynamic user experience by providing both audio and visual feedback.

Ergonomics played a central role in this world first invention. The unusual three – in – a – row burner technology was developed as a result of our design teams observing people in their normal cooking routines. Research has shown that the optimum number of burners that one can handle comfortably at one time was three.

In so doing Fisher and Paykel have removed the inherent dangers associated with cooking on the rear burners of a traditional hob. The dial controls for the cooktop allow accurate, incremental linear flame control, divided into individual flame settings. These are complemented by a digital display. This provides more peace of mind and ergonomic comfort while using the cooktop, thus heightening user experience and enjoyment.
