Pagora is an innovative concept that allows a place to put your bike while getting some rest under a lotus flower shaped spot. The design was inspired from the traditional roofing tile of Korea, yet has been modernize to enhance the appearance and functionality. Pagora features adequate space for racking one bicycle only and the rider is envisioned to be protected from the sun through its beautiful shade that protects only the heat of the sun, not the light. The frame of the concept has been made durable enough through using rigid steel pipes with glossy metallic color.

Demi Sisalan Hanging Table for Small Spaces

The Hanging Table concept has been designed to turn small indoor spaces into a more efficient place by allowing the user keeping it away from their way when it’s not in use. This table concept design is ideal for dining room or kitchen of little houses, RVs, yachts and offices. Square, sphere, or circle planned, and coated with high density foam, the aluminum framed lightweight table plate is hanged with an aluminum frame and one chrome finished leg. This periscope style leg has been formed with seven parts of hydraulic equipment, which has made it durable enough to hold the weight of the plate and do the lift and lose task.

Saucer Vehicle : You Can Sleep While You Drive

The Saucer is a modular self-driven vehicle that features a single size bed arrangement, allowing the driver to sleep in peace while the vehicle takes him or her to the destination. This innovative idea is specially targeted for those who have to drive a long way home from their night shift work place. The soundproof interior of this vehicle is equipped with various programming consoles for self-driving the vehicle. Moreover, if you don’t want to sleep when you are commuting, there is enough space to lay back and relax or perhaps reading a newspaper or a magazine, or just enjoying some entertainment. The rear end of Saucer has a medium-size baggage compartment where you can store your required stuffs like suitcase, briefcase, etc.

Imagine sleeping while you drive. This notion may sound insane, but it is very possible with the Saucer. The world today is growing at a very fast pace and will continue to do so, meaning that people will not have enough time for anything and sadly that includes our precious sleep-time. Just to mention a few, perhaps you often have late nights from work and are too tired to drive or you need to get to an appointment, which is hundreds of miles away, early as possible the next morning or maybe you were invited to a party, but too drunk to drive back home. This is where the Saucer comes in…

Of course, the vehicle is not designed for an alcoholic individual or to cure insomnia, rather it is designed for those with very busy lives that leave them with little or limited sleep time.

The Saucer is a self-driven vehicle with a single size bed arrangement, where the driver is no longer the driver and instead take the time to sleep as he/she travel to his/her destination. This unique vehicle is especially targeted at night-shift individuals who are a long way from home. Simply put, if you’re feeling too tired to drive, don’t leave home without it.

The interior is soundproof and is equipped with a set of programming consoles that self-drive the vehicle. Even when awake, while traveling to your destination, there is enough room for you to lay back and relax, and keep yourself busy. Perhaps reading a magazine or newspaper, or simply turning-on some entertainment. A medium-size cargo compartment is also integrated at the rear end of the vehicle where you can store up some of your gear, such as a briefcase or a suitcase. – inspired by the Alien Flying Saucer.

CarNurse Concept : Car for Medical Attention in Public Beach

CarNurse is a concept vehicle aimed to provide medical support for wounded at public beaches. The vehicle includes enough open space to facilitate the wounded and also can carry the friends or relatives of the patient to handle the situation more efficiently. The design envisioned enough room for 3 lifeguards, 4 people and a stretcher for the wounded. If the wounded requires more specialized medical care, this vehicle can perform both on land and in water for quicker transportation. The car has emergency storage space at the bottom of the lifeguard’s chair and under the stretcher for medical equipments to handle critical situations.

Capsule Electric Car Concept with Roof Mounted Solar Panel and Detachable Luggage Case

The Capsule is a car concept specially designed aiming the adventure lovers with all the characteristics that a mountain rider motorcycle might have. This compact car has room for only one rider and the detachable luggage offers enough space for overnight trips and can be taken to your tent and can be used as a desk. The main purpose of this vehicle is to offer sheer pleasure to the off-road riders which can be realized with its crazy look.

The main idea of creating Capsule was to offer a fun vehicle which offers a feel of freedom and effortless communicating technology. The design includes a full functional multi touch display with satellite internet connectivity which ensures the vehicle cannot be stolen or lost. The horizontal screen wiper is set with side rails which acts along the pillars, and act as water channels as well. The powertrain of Capsule features all-wheel driving system along with electric motors that are helpful to run the car on lofty mountains. This electric car recharges its batteries with the roof-mounted solar panel which can assure 4 hours continuous drive.

The included GPS navigation system can connect with other Capsules and rear view mirrors have been replaced with external cameras which are visualizing on two LCD displays inside the cockpit.

Seawater Vertical Farm in Dubai by StudioMobile

Studiomobile, an Italian architectural firm, have been working during the last couple of years in the United Arab Emirates and their most recent development is the concept seawater vertical farm. Their design, the Seawater Vertical farm utilizes seawater to keep cool and moisten greenhouses and to transform enough humidity back in to water to irrigate the plants. This project would be very much helpful where the supply of fresh water is limited and not much local cultivations are taking part. This project is very expensive but has been considered feasible because of the urban transport problem and the high soil value.

How the concept works :

Phase 01
The air going into the greenhouse is first cooled and humidified by seawater, which is trickled over the first evaporator. This provides a fresh and humid climate for the crops that in these conditions need very little water as they are not stressed by excessive transpiration.

Phase 02
As the air leaves the growing area it passes through the second evaporator which has seawater flowing over it. During this phase the humid air mix with the warm dry air of the ceiling interspace. thus the air is made much hotter and more humid.

Phase 03
The warm air is forced to flow upward by the stack effect that is temperature induced. In the central chimney the warm and humid air will condense when in contact with plastic tubes where cool sea water is pumped. In the surface of the condenser many drops of fresh water will appear, ready to be recollected in a tank to water the crops and for other uses.

These days, cities are getting clogged like anything because more and more cars are being added every day. It is putting pressure not just on environment but on road and parking space as well. It’s a nightmare for anyone with an SUV to find a big enough parking space in a mall or in business complexes. This new City Concept by Matt Bradbury seems to have addressed this issue and while doing so has not compromised on comfort or convenience factors. It’s an all out winner as it is easy to maneuver across the city and thereby enjoying the drive and feel of it without any hassles!

Plastic Compact Dishrack from SimpleHuman

This new compact dish rack has been designed in so that it fits the sink counter perfectly. The designers while designing this device have kept in mind the fact that it not only looks smart but also is compact enough to fit into the smallest of space provided. The design lets the pivoting spout to drain water directly into sink, thereby ensuring cleanliness and no water being on the dish rack or the plates. The plastic walls are also easy to clean thereby it helps in hiding the clutter of drying dishes. So this compact dish rack can be said to be a perfect companions for the kitchen.

The new lounge furniture design by Dima Loginoff can be termed as modern and practical as it is designed for a couple to relax and unwind. It can be said to be a take on classic love seat with space being provided to give each partner to be together while maintaining their own privacy as well. Even though each alcove is designed to seat one person but if the partners want to cuddle in the same seat, there will still be good enough room to accommodate. Made with plastic and chrome plated steel but is sturdy enough to carry the load individually as well as together.

Vtect Kidizoom Digital Camera Product Review

Recently I gifted this camera to my 3 year old cousin on thanksgiving and already it seems to be a must have for him at all times. He carries it all along and trust me, I am no more the super hero because this teeny little camera has replaced me. Having said that, this small wonder can be deemed as a good thought by manufacturers to allow kids to start early. The camera is really a user friendly one and I can see a budding photographer in him, it’s got three settings i.e. on, off and auto and also allow shooting videos. [Buy It Here]

Though there may be a few glitches, like the images not being sharp enough, or the voice is not clear enough but it is understandable, as it’s a kid’s camera, but one must see it as a constructive device as it allows kids to take a lot of pictures thus improving with each shot. The manufacturers also have added many fun elements within the camera like editing your snap with funny hats or draw borders thus developing the creative side of your kid.

The manufacturers have priced it very competitive compared to other kid cameras and has many features which many of the cameras in the same category do not possess. Also the manufacturers have made it quite durable, considering it’s targeted at an age group who are bound to drop things (my little cousin being no different though), but still all my doubts been put to rest, though I would admit that I was really scared when he dropped it the first couple of times. The camera has a 16 MB in built memory, which of course can be extended with the external memory sticks, so don’t worry your child will never go out of memory space. [Buy It Here]
