Slider is an innovative ultra mobile computer concept that can handle all the requirements of a user all through the day. The concept features a full functional 9” touchscreen display and a full QWERTY keyboard which can be revealed through flipping the screen. VOIP video chatting and flawless mobile video streaming can be achieved through its 1GB RAM and 1.5GHz processor, while the keyboard allows the user to send emails and post blog entries easily. The main difficulty that this ultra mobile personal computer faces is finding a reliable hinge that conveys data from the screen and other necessary components located in the upper half of the device to the hard drive and the motherboard. Because of its ultra compact shape, the battery life is significantly hindered, however, it still can ensure 4 to 7 hours of operation.

The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 with its 3.2” touchscreen has been officially unveiled after its sleek-looking predecessor X1. If you consider dimensions, the latest X2 is close to its previous version; however, it’s lighter than the X1. The X2 features a redesigned keypad just like that of a netbook and reveals by sliding out the upper portion. The 8.1 megapixel camera is one of the major upgrades of X2. Braille Concept Phone for Visually Challenged People

Braille phone is a universal cellular phone concept that is able to produce Braille code in a particular part of it by using Electric Active Plastic to make it usable for visually handicapped people. The phone has been designed in a simple and easy to use manner and looks like a television remote control. The Braille area provides all the information that a traditional screen of a cell phone displays so that visually impaired people can read them by touching it. It provides letter blocks in two by three dot matrixes and by using this principle on buttons, visually challenged people can easily create or read text messages. This braille phone just won Red Dot Awards 2009.

Future Amphibious Hybrid Concept Vehicle with Intelligent Wheel System

Amphibious Hybrid is a concept vehicle which was created under an industrial design course project. This intelligent and superbly designed car has adjustable tire and the ability to analyze particular terrain and change the shape of the tire automatically as required. The tires are able to open up if required depending on the terrain. When the vehicle is running on normal roads, the tires remain usual. When it is running in the snow, the tires are open a little bit. Finally, the flaps are completely open when it is running in the water, acting as a propeller to give the pace.

The idea is to make an amphibious vehicle that can be used on land, ice and on water. Inside each wheel is an electric engine, which has energy from batteries. To realize these points the vehicle needs to be adaptable to the environment and use. This problem is solved by a specially designed tire.

Intelligent wheel system
The wheel exists of movable parts which can increase traction or even transform in a paddle wheel to propel the vehicle in the water. The wheel is controlled by terrain sensors which decide when more or less traction is needed. This system provides the vehicle with more safety because it can answer to different kind of terrains.

Renting concept
When making a vehicle that can do almost anything it will be certain it is going to cost a lot of money. For students to be able to afford it, there could be a renting system. For example for 5 euros a day the tourists and students could rent the vehicle. Cheap price could be achieved by sticker advertising.

So, in order to keep your food unburned, you need to swirl it regularly which reduces the possibility of your food getting burned. Rolly Cook is a portable oven concept that can efficiently do this for you allowing more convenience and extra time to use for other purpose. This handy tool reduces the risk of burning your food in an innovative and well-designed way. It includes a central mechanism that spins two cylindrical containers on both sides. This continuous movement of the containers averts the risk of food burning.

The outsider container has a series of heating panels that can be adjusted easily for a less or more intense heat as required for a particular type of food. For lower temperature cooking, tow containers are added together with the help of a clump forming a shape of a binocular. When its time to cook something in higher temperature, only one container remains functional.
