The stylish Bionic concept car is simply a token of functional values and innovative natural aesthetics through its radical aerodynamic design. The car has been designed to change its shape as per requirement in different situations by implementing EAP-electro-active polymer layers, which is an optimized and advance automobile material. Moreover, it features advance in-wheel motor technology that allows the car to produce zero-emissions and a polycarbon roof with attached solar photovoltaic cells that gives an uninterrupted outside view aside from producing energy through sunlight. Honda Native is 3 Seated Vehicle Powered By Lithium-Ion Battery

The Honda Native concept comprises an electric engine which is powered by heavy-duty lithium-ion battery and can house 3 persons including the driver. This ultra compact car with great aerodynamic features has been designed for the massively congested future traffic where speed will be ignored over low space riding efficiency. Its down to the ground design will allow the car to offer smooth riding experience to the riders. The exterior parts of the vehicle are made of photocromic materials that make it possible for the car to change its color according to the light, temperature and other surrounding environmental factors.

Green Speed Air Powered Motorcycle for Zero Pollution Effect

The Green Speed concept is an air-fueled concept bike that features a zero pollution effect on the environment through greenhouse gas emissions and especially being cheap and willingly available. The rotary air engine is lightweight, compact and powerful and is powered by compressed air from the two compressed air tanks. Because of its 3000 RPM of the engine, this bike can run only on one gear which is actually a sprocket bolted to the engine axis and chained with the rear wheel. The carbon fiber tanks of the bike stores the compressed air, when mass is produced, the solar panel generated energy will compress air and amass them in the tanks. The bike doesn’t contain any kind of lightening like headlight, indicator light or brake lights; instead, it contains three tiny cameras.

The engine that used is a rotary air engine. It is the invention of the Melbourne engineer Angelo Di Pietro. The engine is compact, lightweight and powerful and runs on compressed air from two compressed air tanks on the bike. It revs up to 3,000 RPM, and because of this, the inventors didn’t need any gear box on the bike. There is only one gear, which is just a sprocket bolted directly to the axis of the engine and chained to the rear wheel.

Compressed air is stored in the bike’s on-board carbon fiber tanks. Once mass produced, the bike will have solar panels that will generate enough energy to compress air and store it in the bike’s tanks, which will increase its range indefinitely.

As the bike was designed as a speed record setter, there is no headlight, brake light or indicator lights on the bike. Instead, there were three little cameras fitted at the front and tail on the bike that are used to record the run. The body works were designed to be aerodynamic and lightweight, and it will be made of fiber glass or carbon fiber.

Thermodynamic Cooler Requires No Electricity

The Thermodynamic Cooler concept has been designed to optimize the high-tech kitchens of the emerging countries. The system incorporates evaporating water cooling effect for preserving foods and requires no electricity which reduces the consumption of domestic energy without compromising comfort. Its stackable design allows it to be used as a substitute of a second fridge, pantry or a sophisticated fruit bowl. The cooler has two pots, one inside another. The space in between is filled with glass-foam, a waste element of the glass recycling procedure, which has made the entire cooler lighter. The inner pot is enclosed with a damp cloth stretched over the lid and the water of the wet glass-foam start evaporating, resulting a radical drop of temperature. This cooler can destroy injurious micro-organisms and preserves the freshness of the inside food. To keep the cooling method active, you need to add water time to time though.

The compact shape of this three-wheeler allows it waving through busy traffic and in between other cars and houses only one passenger and the driver. When turning, it has been designed to lean to the particular direction allowing better control for the driver. This electric vehicle comprises bio-ethanol engine which is completely eco-friendly. When charging through a traditional power point, the covered scooter shaped vehicle looks much like a mobile phone getting charged through its charger.

TVR Throne Car Concept by Hussien Al Jammazi

Hussien Al Jammazi has envisioned an excellent and unique car concept name TVR Throne that has all the aesthetical aspect to make a person get amazed. The designer has given his maximum effort to make unique components for the car. Starting from the rear view mirrors through headlights to the front hood, everything has something extraordinary to offer to the viewers. This excellent aerodynamic design comprises V8 supercharged aluminum engine that can generate 638 hp of power, well enough to go 0-60 in just 4.2 seconds. Moreover, to make the car sustainable in hot countries, the designer has included a two-barrel carburetor.

Audi Avatar 3-Seater Electric Supercar for 2032

The Audi Avatar is a 3-seater electric supercar concept specially designed for the drivers of 2032 to enjoy the pleasure of driving that they experienced playing racing games during their childhood days. The appearance of the car is much identical with the science fiction flying cars we used to watch. This futuristic car concept features 4 extremely powerful in-wheel electric motors powered by supercharge-ion batteries. The ultra lightweight aerodynamic body along with the powerful backend, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and can achieve the top speed of over 360km/h with responsive handling.

Some explanation from Edwin :
The exterior desing of the car is inspired by the form of fabric blown in the wind. The form also carries traces of the historical Auto Union Type C Streamline race.

There are no conventional doors on the car, but instead, inspired by the jet fighters, there are three glass canopies. The main canopy opens forward together with the steering wheel and the dashboard; the two passengers’ canopies open backwards; and a side panel on the bodywork opens downwards to act as a step, making the event of getting in and out of the cockpit very special and easy.

The interior is simply one continuous sheet, starting from the dashboard, then being folded and bended to create floor carpet and seat.

The interior of the car is as simple and futuristic as the exterior. Single sheet transparent LCD dashboard displays all the essential data such as speed and mileage. The screen in the center of the steering wheel displays digital map. The information can also be projected on the canopy by a head up display. The
whole driving experience would be like flying a fighter jet. There is a small but handy luggage space behind the driver seat for handbags and suitcases. It is also an arm rest for the passengers.

Four wheels are housed inside the car’s four “legs”. Each wheel contains an Audi In-wheel Electric Drive Unit, making the car an evolution in Audi’s trademark “Quattro” all time four-wheel-drive system. The long range Supercharge-ion battery which powers the in-wheel motors are separated into two packs located in front of as well as behind the cockpit, creating a perfect 50:50 weight distribution of the car for excellent handling.

Incheon Main Stadium for 2014 Asian Games

The Stadium concept for 17th Asian Games 2014 in Incheon has been designed to house 70,000 people and a single sided park where another 30,000 people can enjoy their visit. The design of the stadium is based on an uneven configuration with corporate and management facilities on its permanent western side, ensuring both construction and operation efficiencies. The eastern side incorporates modular temporary seating structure which will disappear when the game is finished, and the stadium structure will become a local landscape. The flowing form of the stadium and surrounding spaces with dynamic movement symbolizes the traditional Korean culture. The extended main roof of the stadium creates a welcoming environment while giving the structure a beautiful look.

Incheon Metropolitan City is a world class city, and this will be an innovative design, benchmarked against world’s best practice.

The multipurpose stadium builds on the design developed by Populous for the main stadium for the 2012 Olympic Games in London and illustrates a new level of sustainable design in public infrastructure built for major events such as an Olympics or an Asian games.

The key to the stadium’s success will be reducing it down and linking it into the surrounding parklands, to make it an open accessible building, for its people. This way it can achieve a connection with the community that is vital to securing its long term sustainability and a true legacy for the people of Incheon.
