Compact and moveable bar is pretty great idea isn’t it ? Designed by Isay Winefield, a Brazil based architect whose portfolio includes diverse projects right from set designs to furniture pieces, the mobile bar displays his signature style of clean and straight lines. The interesting part of the design is that the boxes are sized for specific functions, and all being strategically placed in the hidden drawers. United Airlines First Class Suite

With customer satisfaction the driving factor, companies are trying to give that extra comfort to the customers. The companies want a satisfied customer and are hence extended to the customers. Given on the same lines, comes the United Airlines International First Class Suite.

In the first look it looks somewhat futuristic. The best thing is that it gives the exclusive privacy for the First Class traveler with everything their own in. Yes luxury has a new address! These S shaped cabins consist of seats which recline to give that extra comfort, the seat reclines into a fully flat bed, so passengers can sleep. There is iPod connectivity so passengers can plug in there iPod and view content on the FC suites large video monitor. Also TV for audio visual entertainment and a working table complete with drawers and storage spaces so that you can catch up with office if needed. And of course the space to keep that drink while catching up on the latest movie.

Mark Peurifoy, the designer also mentioned that United FC suite is currently flying on some international routes and will be introduced on selected Boeing 777, 747, 767 international routes during 2008/2009.

The USP of this design is that there is no wastage of space. With emphasis on optimum utilization of space, this is the design is something that any business traveler would approve of. United Airlines having understood that requirement seems to have done in these interiors to jazz up the business traveler of the future. YiAhn Transformable Bassinet

YiAhn (pronounced “e-ahn”) is not just ordinary bassinet. It can adapt to keep pace the changing needs of a growing child. Designed by Chul Min, Kang as a gift for his new born, this bassinet was designed to meet the needs of each growth phase of the baby. When the baby outgrows the bassinet, YiAhn can be reused as entirely different products after a simple process of transformation.

Due to the fast growth of the baby, a bassinet itself can only be used only for three months. However, this bassinet can be reused as storage equipment (for example, as a toy bin and a mini bookshelf with drawers) once the first need (bassinet) is outgrown. As the toddler becomes a child, it can also be converted into a chair and table set for children. It is very easy to change the shape of the furniture; simple folding, with no use of tools, allows the piece of furniture to transform into new products. It can also be used as a bassinet again if the family has a second baby.

Stylist and Modern Carry-On Luggage

A new design from Joey Roth, carry-on luggage to articulate the lost romance of air travel. The design also pulls from the golden age of ocean liners: the black lacquered finish will become beautifully scraped and chipped as the suitcase travels with you, revealing the bamboo plywood beneath. The patina will develop with each trip you take. The wood bar serves as a carrying handle when closed. It unfolds, using simple 45-degree angles between bars and rotating joints, to allow the user to roll the suitcase. The interior has four drawers with bamboo bases and soft felt walls. The bottom drawer is sized for laptops. Instead of unpacking your clothes once you reach your destination, the carry-on suitcase functions as a very livable wardrobe while you?re on the go.
