Sergio Gedanke has come up with a new mobile phone called iTT which endorses a classic look in stylish black and silver combination. The main menu button is a stark red one which is located in the middle of the silver fascia of the phone. The uniqueness of the phone lies in its screen which can be opened easily. When closed the screen features brilliant sheen and complements the silver grey color perfectly. The overall look of the phone is extremely classy and funky at the same time.

Text from Sergio:

The AUDI brand is a well-respected and trusted product in the automotive world. The iTT concept phone is a result of exploring AUDI’s form vocabulary on a handheld device such as a cell phone.

The iTT phone incorporates similar materials and finishes found on the roadster TT and the high-class A8 model. User-interface is also similar to current trends in both automotive interiors and hand-held devices such as trackballs and backlit customizable keyboards. The innovative tilting screen allow easy reading during driving.

Intuit features dual interactive interfaces to cater for different applications. The UI adjust itself depending on the usage mode-whether phone, camera or internet mode. The device is also energy efficient charging via solar power, ensuring it will never die out while in use.

The new name in next generation concept phone is Onyx. Onyx is the result of partnership of Synaptics and industrial design studio Pilotfish. It is enabled through the clear capacitive sensing technology of Synaptics, thus illustrating what the future of mobile communications would be. It would be that of combining an intelligent and adaptive user interface, this with sleek industrial design and the next-generation user interaction design.

This device is based on concept to simultaneously run applications like phone, GPS, music, teleconference and calendar events into activity based experiences. It uses the Synaptics Clearpad technology which is a thin, high resolution capacitive touch screen interface which eliminates the mechanical benefits on handheld devices.

The focus of the Onyx project was to illustrate how Synaptics’ revolutionary clear capacitive touch screen can push design and interaction boundaries through collaborative design. By combining Synaptics enabling technology, interaction design proficiency and concept prototyping capabilities with Pilotfish’s user interface and industrial design expertise, the Onyx concept illustrates what is possible when a thoughtful approach is used to incorporate new technology in the mobile environment.

With new and new models and various features of cell phones coming in the market it is hard to choose the best of all. Many of the people do not prefer heavy cell phones. Mimique is the answer to all the prayers of the people who hate heavy cell phones. These cell phones look more like a PDA than a cell phone. Mimique has the tradition of the old school cell phones but yet has a touch of modernisms.

With so many features in it and especially the down loadable up grades, users will never have the need to buy a new cell phone in order to get new features. The “skins” present in it allows the user to change the graphics interface to match their mood or preferences. With the Mimique cell phones, it will open a new phase in anybody’s life who ever will use it, especially with the download features and the “skins”.

There is nothing better that can give you a kick than the fact that you own a piece that may be a select few own in this world. On the lines of this exclusivity comes the Touch Diamond Smart phone. Designed One & Co based in San Francisco in collaboration with Taiwan based HTC design team.

Together they have created design that celebrates the rich, innovative user interface using a disciplined, geometric form language thus ensuring the viewing content in a clutter free environment. The irregular back facet is a trend which can be seen in the recent contemporary furniture and architecture providing a highly recognizable design element.

Since the smart phone market is expanding at a phenomenal rate, HTC is trying to meet this demand so that it can take the internet mobile to the consumer. Also it is expanding the services to include environment, advanced fun communication. Also the exclusivity factor will be played upon to play with the ego of the customer. This new target segment is reflected in the design of the Touch Diamond and thus establishes HTC as a leader in the marketplace.

The inspiration of this mobile phone is based on the beauty of reflections on a lake. Using large, transparent display screen as the manifestation of its conceptual inspiration – the beauty and tranquility of reflections on the surface of a lake. When this phone in the off mode, you can see the screen looks like a still water surface. During operation, flowing music, film images, pictures, web pages, articles, and user interfaces appear on the display, reminiscent of the reflections on the water?s surface. As users indulge in the visual experience provided by the large screen, they are reacquainted with the beauty of the lake?s reflections.

Fascinating Figure cell phone can be operated horizontally, diagonally and even vertically. Its interface can also be transformed to give it a curved appearance. The interface features its fabric material, to define the function modules by extrusion and fold. This soft phone concept is based on the fabric digital display technology, which will lead to a new experience in more flexible cell phone operation. Jian Qian says “The Bluetooth earphone buckled to the string can charge the phone by Electromagnetic Induction. The material of the interface is fabric while the one of clip and circle is silica gel, which makes the phone very soft and portable.”
