Pagora is an innovative concept that allows a place to put your bike while getting some rest under a lotus flower shaped spot. The design was inspired from the traditional roofing tile of Korea, yet has been modernize to enhance the appearance and functionality. Pagora features adequate space for racking one bicycle only and the rider is envisioned to be protected from the sun through its beautiful shade that protects only the heat of the sun, not the light. The frame of the concept has been made durable enough through using rigid steel pipes with glossy metallic color.

Arctic Marine Fauna : A Tunnel That Connects The Short Stretch of Arctic Ocean Between Russia and The United States

The Arctic Marine Fauna is not just a commercial construction like a railway link or a bridge bonding one continent to another, this proposal entails more audacious, active and sensitive issues considering the amplitude, geopolitical context and the global ecological conscience.

Because of the relatively shallow water levels of the Straits, the proposed structure can descend to the base of the ocean with just a few meters floating over the water level. Compression is the main working principal of this structure that features two parallel walls cut through the adjoining water bodies, held apart with bracing, which is habitable at times. Each wall is 10 meters wide and respectfully provides vehicle and train infrastructures at its apex. The trait is used only to give simplicity to this massive structure that features a direct line to connect the two sides.

The wide interstitial space spans 50 meters which was created by this vast separation and becomes an interface for human haulage, providing inhabitants and visitors the opportunity to navigate the Strait by walking. The visitors will enjoy constant views of underwater landscape walking across the tubes, submerged below 50 meters of water level. Moreover, the separation of the Pacific from the Arctic can improve temperature isolation, by gradually reducing the water temperature in the Arctic, which would be a great environmental benefit.

Sony Ericsson Jalou Cell Phone by Dolce and Gabbana

The Jalou phone is the outcome of the latest partnership between designers Dolce and Gabbana and Sony Ericsson which features latest technology along with fashion statement to make others green with desire as well. The unique design of this phone was inspired by the multiple surfaces of a cushion-cut gemstone. The features that must be talked about this phone are its efficient 3.2 megapixel camera that can tag photos with their geographic position, a 2-inch high resolution display, stereo Bluetooth and a built-in-mirror, all these are packed into its compact clamshell which is as small as a lipstick box. Normal versions of this phone are already available in deep amethyst, onyx black and aquamarine shades, and the special D&G edition will be available in Sparkling Rose with 24-karat gold plating along with a special wireless headset.

Honda RA-X Two Seater Concept Sportscar

Honda RA-X is the latest concept sportscar inspired by the beginning of motorsport competition during the 60s and hence was named as RA similar with the first F1 cars in distinctive white and yellow colors. This two-seater concept car comprises MR engine and back transmission with a capacity of over 350 hp, while the position of the exhaust pipes positively reminds the RA300 F1. The design features innovative smooth crossing lines in the surface that forms a theoretical X. The car’s engine can be seen through a glass and predominates at the back side of the engine vent with optical technology-led groups forming a triangular shape. The inlets are merged with optical groups on the front and the dimensions of the car are: length 4050 x height 1163 x 1940 Wide.

Atmosphere Camera : Capture Pictures While Thrown On The Air

The Atmosphere concept camera was designed for the ‘active-youth’ with the ability of capturing pictures when it is actually thrown on the air. This interactive camera has three different lenses to use – a normal snap-shot, a ‘fisheye’ and a color filtered lens. To activate any of the lenses, the user just has to rotate the front knob. Moreover, it has three rubberized handles located inside, helping the user to manage easy portability and accessibility. The small silver knobs act as an attachment area for the discs through rubber cords that will allow easy looping and a secure tight grip for the camera.

Domo : Touch Screen Digital Camera Concept

After being introduced by iPhone, many other competitors of the electronic industry have utilized the outstanding multi-touch facility in different gadgets. Domo touch camera probably would be the first camera with this feature. However, this project is still in the design lab and not much information has revealed yet, but the compact, sleek yet simple design of this camera would really be appreciated. This camera features single click shooting and the photo pops up just after taking the snap for reviewing. When you are viewing the photos from the internal memory or from the memory stick, they can be navigated by finger dragging and to view a photo in full screen, just tap the selected one.

Caravan Design That is Inspired by Airstreams and 50s Style

This innovative caravan was designed aiming creating something exceptional from the plain boring white boxes around and to recapture some individuality yet have the minimum resemblances to identify it as a caravan to potential buyers. The design is inspired by 50s style and highlighted by whitewall tires, wheel covers, the sleek airstream shape, aluminum band and shady windows. The modern and sophisticated interior features a separate bedroom located above the living area operated by electronic pop up roof and a movable ladder allows accessing the bedroom located at the end of the kitchen. Moreover, a standard sized bathroom, a hygienic kitchen and a fold down rear docking area have made the caravan really an extraordinary place.

The Museum of Ephemera: Interior Design of the Museum of Wellington City and Sea by Nazia Kachwalla

Museum of Ephemera is redesigned version of Museum of Wellington City and Sea which has been crafted keeping the historic components of the existing building and modern facilities in mind. The recently modernized historic Board Room as well as the original staircase was turned into place holders which shows the new intervention. The designer not only emphasized on the historic elements of the existing building, but also the role of the building over its historic period was kept intact during the challenging renovation of this building to obtain a strong position in the modern world.

The elevator is actually an allegorical crane, placed right there where they belong. You can resemble the bridges that intersect into the museum with the arms of a crane, placed over the historic staircase and the boardroom, locking them in place. The Museum of Wellington City and Sea is known as ephemera to many of its exhibits and considering this fact the intrusion moved from solid to ephemeral. The administrative areas are represented by the solid part and the ephemeral symbolizes the exhibition areas of the museum. This project challenges the concept of ephemeral not only via temporality and movement but also through light, glass and reflection.

This product may seem not so useful at the first sight but if you consider the dirt and hassle of a wet umbrella inside your house, you will be surely admitting its usefulness. Just hang your wet umbrella with the pendulum toy and it will swing your umbrella in order to drain off the water and store them into the base collector. This useful tool will surely be appreciated by your guests who will visit your house during a rainy day. Besides, you can wring a wet towel after using to dry it in the sun.
