Do you think that you can have both the luxury of a car and a yacht ? If your answer is no, then think again, because that combination might happen sometimes in the future. BMW Designworks USA has worked with Belgian boatbuilder Zeydon to produce a 60-foot clas yacht, perhaps BMW will use the term of ‘Luxury Sports Cruiser’, since BWM usually refers to luxury SUV. This yacht is designed to fulfill the desire of having luxury yachting and great performance sailing.
The Zeydon Z60, an offshore yacht of the 60-foot class, combines the sailing performance potential of an offshore yacht with an ‘uncompromising’ range of equipment and the elegance of a modern luxury cruiser. DesignworksUSA was incorporated into the conceptual work during the initial phase of the project. As explained by Mr. Mihai Panaitescu, 20, student of I.E.D. Turin major in Transportation Design the concept peugeot flux was to design a vehicle that pleases it’s occupants in every way. It’s versatility combined with it’s sportiness and the ability to use it in different environments are in my opinion some of the vehicle’s strong points.
Either as an explorer of sandy beaches, sweeping mountain roads, or simply commuting in the city, the Flux concept embodies a vehicle that is made to please. It’s dynamic shape and open air cockpit make it lively and fun to drive as the occupants are always in contact with their surroundings. (more…)

Designed by a guy called Harald Cramer, it’s a custom-made time-trial cycle with all sorts of weird and wonderful innovations. The Y-frame shape means that the Oryx is shock-proof and keeps you in contact with the road at all time, and there is a one-sided fork and chain-stay. In time trial races, like the Contre la Montre at the Tour de France, every second counts, that?s why Oryx possesses an identical pair of wheels which can be removed by the push of a button.

The concept of this ring comes from how you manage to save all informations about the person that you just met. Wearing this ring, when people first meet and shake hands, the rings on the fingers get close enough to operate and begin to download all basic information about the ring owner. This ring works on both side, so they exchange basic informations, the more people you meet, the more informations are saved in your ring. This ring was designed by Hideaki Matsui, hopefully we can see the ring in the future.

This is really cool smart phone that make me really drooling all over, it’s been running around through worldwide web without any official statement. Look at the full qwerty keyboard, I definitely want one !! Rumor said that this is fujitsu new helio protype, they were created to explore the possibilities for smartphones. Let’s take a look at peugeot’s futuristic prototype two-seater. This 4WD Quark has removable interactive interface, innovative PDA concept, still serves the same purpose as ignition key which combine with instrument panel. 4WD Quark is also protected with small transparent and waterproof cover. Enough said, this 4WD Quark prototype has competed successfully at Michelin Bibendum challenge.The vehicle create its own class in four wheeler, which actually similar with 4WD machines that are selling so well in America at present, yet created low-emission inner-urban fuel-cell vehicle. To drive each of four 17″ diameter wheels, this 4WD Quark is using electric motor which connected to the chassis by means of triangular wishbones.
The fuel cell supplements electrical energy supplied by a Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery consisting of 40 individual cells, each with a voltage of 7.2 volts. The one that I like the most about the future is car, it’s amazing how people design a very futuristic design and not so little can make it happen, some even already have the prototype. Now let’s see about Mazda Nagare concept from Mazda, the word itself pronounced as “na-ga-reh”, this cool car was first shown at the Greater Los Angeles Internation Auto Show, and also as the first series of design concepts that Mazda will show in this global auto show season.Laurens Van Den Acker as Mazda’s new global design director, the team was challenged to invent a means of registering motion in vehicles, and Nagare was born, the meaning of its name is flowing (in Japanese), this design achieves the goal also signaling a fresh design of future Mazda vehicles.
This mazda is planned to be designed in 2020 said Franz von Holzhausen, Mazda North American Operations? (MNAO) Director of Design, and they need redefined basic proportions and the idea of (more…)

Felix Schmidberger has designed a futuristic laptop which might be used around 8-10 years later. Say good bye to conventional keyboard, this futuristic laptop is using a touchscreen OLED display, including the screen too, basically the OLED display is separated into two section, the screen and the keyboard.
You can also control the laptop by a senstylus pen or by hand. Besides using the laptop as portable office, you can also turn the laptop into home entertainment system by the help of external docking system. The compenion (the laptop name) is going to be able to adapt to the environment, you can use projector for viewing video or when you’re at the office, you can use the external keyboard.
Although it’s just a concept, it doesn’t mean that this laptop won’t be launched, expecting around 2015 we can already use this laptop, we’ll see …
